Featuring large amount of waste heat and strict humidity control requirements, cigarette factories always need continual humidification, but humidification methods will impact the economy of operating. Based on the climate data of typical meteorological year in Qingdao region, combined with the actual situation of a package workshop in a cigarette factory, discusses the schemes of ultrasonic humidification and steam humidification, and optimizes the percentage of outdoor air to fully use the cooling capacity of outdoor air and shorten the operating of the chillers. Formulates an annual energy saving control strategy and compares the economy of the two schemes. The result shows that the operating cost of the ultrasonic humidification is lower.
